“For I know the PLANS I have for you, declares the Lord, PLANS to prosper you and not to harm you, PLANS to give you hope and a future.” – Jeremiah 29:11
TRUST – God knows the plan. This verse gives me so much confidence. Knowing that HE has a PLAN for my life. I’m a planner. I have so many planners it’s ridiculous. I love a well thought out PLAN. You know the ones – that seem to just go into place effortlessly. Sometimes, you don’t even know of the stress, or the struggle that one has endured when the curtains go up and it’s time for the show to go on.
I have been behind many curtains in life as I’m sure you have as well. From singing in choirs, being the speaker at an event, Mistress of Ceremony of a program…whatever it may be – when the show must go on – IT MUST GO ON.
I have found with my life, that I can make all the plans that I want – God has a PLAN for my life. I love how this scripture says that He has, “PLANS to prosper me and not harm me.” I admit, that many of my own plans have harmed me. Trying to please people and even myself, has gotten me into various situations that only God, through His unmerited favor, has gotten me out of.
As the song goes…
“As I look back over my life, and I think things over. I can TRULY say, that I’ve been blessed, I have a TESTIMONY!”
The PLANS…
That’s a message in itself. I’m so glad I serve a loving God that sits up high and looks down low. One whose thoughts are so much higher than my own. One who knows every single hair on my head (even the ones turning gray). Every trial I have endured – He knows. All the mess – He turned into a MESSAGE. His PLANS…
